Meet Rosalia Garcia
Meet Rosalia Garcia, a Long Beach resident who rides with LBT daily to get her to her medical appointments, family commitments and when time allows, some fun senior activities.
“I moved to Long Beach four years ago after living in North Carolina for around five years. Originally, I am from the Philippines, and I had a car over there, but in the U.S. I am too afraid to drive.” shared Rosalia. “LBT has helped me get around the city so easily, it saves me so much time and stress. Since I ride daily, I use the Senior TAP Card because it is more convenient for me.”
Rosalia’s favorite routes are the 41 along Easy Ave. and the 191 along Del Amo Blvd. and Santa Fe Ave., which she regularly takes to get to her senior activities, doctor appointments and to visit family.
“When I first moved here, I had no clue how to ride the bus, now I don’t have any issues. I tell my friends at the Silverado Park Senior Center to give it a try and that there’s nothing to fear,” shared Rosalia. “It’s so easy and if you ever need help; the bus operators are there to answer your questions.”
Thank you, Rosalia, for riding with LBT!
