Long Beach, CA – Due to expected flooding and the Governor’s declared state of emergency in the area, Long Beach Transit (LBT) will suspend bus service effective at 6:00 p.m. today, Sunday, Aug. 20, 2023. Service is expected to resume at 6:00 a.m., Monday, Aug. 21, 2023.
The Transit and Visitors Information Center will close at 2:00 p.m. and LBT’s Customer Call Center at 5:00 p.m. today, Sunday, Aug. 20, 2023.
Water Taxis services have also been canceled for Sunday, Aug. 20, 2023, and Monday, Aug. 21, 2023.
