Meet Sokin Seng

Meet Sokin Seng, a Customer Amenities Supervisor, who began his career with LBT 18 years ago on the Customer Care Team as a Courier. He moved on to become a Utility Worker before making his way to the Customer Amenities team, where he was recently promoted to a supervisor position. The Customer Amenities team takes the charge on the installation and maintenance of the 2,000+ bus stops in LBT’s service area. 

“I grew up in Long Beach, so LBT was always a big part of my life,” shared Sokin. “I’m proud of the service we provide for the community and a clean and well-maintained bus stop is a big part of that service.” 

When asked about his favorite part of the job, Sokin shared, “It’s the family atmosphere at LBT. I’ve got to experience working on different teams and in different departments over my time here, and it’s always felt like LBT is one big family.” 

Outside of work, Sokin enjoys spending time with friends and family and taking care of his saltwater coral fish tank. You can also find him mixing it up on the weekends as a wedding and event DJ. Did you catch LBT at the most recent Pride Parade? Sokin was the DJ spinning vinyl aboard our bus!
