Meet Selena Garcia
Selena Garcia is one of LBT’s Customer Care Agents who joined the team this past year.
As a member of the Customer Care Team, she helps customers with transit planning and information on LBT programs and services over the telephone and in-person at the Transit & Visitor Information Center.
“I was looking for a career change and when I saw the job opening and read the job description, I knew this was something that I wanted to do and a company that I wanted to be a part of,” shared Selena. “I wanted to be able to give back to my community and I knew in this role I’d be able to directly help customers get to where they need to go.”
Selena’s favorite part about the job has been the people she’s met – not just the customers she helps every day, but her teammates too.
“Everyone at LBT has been so welcoming since I started,” shared Selena. “It’s made the transition into this new role a lot easier, and I know I can go to my teammates with any question or if I need help with a customer.”
Outside of work Selena enjoys spending time with her dog, Ava. She also tries to stay active by biking and roller skating by the beach in her free time.
