Meet Brendan 

Brendan Schultheis is a Geographic Information Systems (GIS/ITS) Transit Planner who recently joined LBT two months ago. Welcome to LBT Brendan! 

Brendan is part of the Transit Service Delivery and Planning team, which is dedicated to analyzing current and future service needs, tracking data and creating route schedules that help LBT provide the best service possible. 

Brendan grew up in Long Beach and attended California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). “I grew up in this community, so it’s been awesome to join and do my part to serve Long Beach and help provide sustainable public transportation,” shared Brendan. 

Brendan’s favorite part about working for the Service Planning team has been the welcoming atmosphere.  “The whole team has been awesome to work with,” he said. “They really took me under their wing and helped show me the ropes early on. I’m really happy working here with people who really care about their community.” 

Outside of work, you’ll find Brendan exploring the outdoors. He tries to hike, camp and surf as much as he can.
