Due to the Long Beach 5K on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024, and the Long Beach Marathon on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024, there will be detours on multiple routes and bus stop closures both days.
The detour for the Long Beach 5K is from 4:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., or when the race is complete, on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024. The detour will impact the Passport route, with no service on Shoreline Dr., Shoreline Village or the Queen Mary.
The detour for the Long Beach Marathon is from the start of service to 4:00 p.m. or when the race is complete.
The detour will impact the Passport and routes 21, 22, 23, 41, 45, 46, 71, 91, 94, 111, 112, 121, 131, 151, 171 and 173 both directions.
There will be detours and bus stop closures along portions of:
- No service on Ocean Blvd. from Atlantic Ave. to Livingston Dr.
- No service on Livingston Dr.
- No service on 2nd St. from Livingston Dr. to Pacific Coast Hwy.
- No service on Ximeno Ave. between Broadway and Anaheim St.
- No service on Shoreline Dr., Shoreline Village, Pine Ave. or Queen Mary.
Signs will be posted directing customers to the alternative boarding locations at the impacted bus stop closures in the area.
