Long Beach, CA – Long Beach Transit (LBT) will offer complimentary service on all bus routes from 5:00 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2023, until approximately 1:00 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2024, to help everyone travel safely during their celebrations.   

LBT will offer extended late-night service on eight routes to and from the Downtown Long Beach area to help customers avoid holiday traffic, parking and driving under the influence. A complete list of extended routes and departure times can be found here.  

LBT will only provide complimentary fare on New Year’s Eve. LBT routes will operate on a reduced Sunday schedule on Dec. 25, 2023, and again on Jan. 1, 2024. Those schedules can be found here. 

The Transit & Visitor Information Center and Call Center will be closed on Monday, Dec. 25, 2023, and Monday, Jan. 1, 2024. Customers can call LBT’s Customer Care Team at 562.591.2301 or visit www.ridelbt.com/trip-planner to plan their trips ahead.
