Meet Dayvon

Dayvon Sierra is a Long Beach native who began using Long Beach Transit (LBT) in high school to commute to and from school. Dayvon recently graduated high school early, (Congratulations Dayvon!) and now uses LBT to get to and from work and explore the city.

“Riding with LBT has been an overall easy experience,” shared Dayvon. “I’m able to get all over Long Beach and can easily load my bike on the front if I need to. I use it mostly to go to work and visit friends and family.” 

As someone who utilizes LBT as a main mode of transportation, Dayvon’s advice to new riders is to plan out your trip ahead of time. “You can easily use Google Maps or LBT’s Trip Planner on the website to figure out what bus you need to take and what time you need to get to your stop,” shared Dayvon.  

In his free time, you can find Dayvon exploring local thrift shops and snapping shots of the city and his friends on his camera. He’s also an active competitor in Muay Thai and boxing and recently began coaching at his gym.
