Meet Rubi

Rubi is a loyal Long Beach Transit (LBT) customer who has relied on LBT services for the past four years to commute to work, run errands and stay connected with her community. Her interview was conducted in Spanish, so her direct quotes are included in both languages. 

“I’ve been using Long Beach Transit for four years now, and I love how clean the buses are and how easy they make it to get around Long Beach and nearby cities,” shared Rubi. 
 
“He estado usando Long Beach Transit durante cuatro años y me encanta lo limpios que están los autobuses y lo fácil que hacen moverme por Long Beach y las ciudades cercanas,” compartió Rubi. 

Over the years, Rubi has learned a few tips and tricks to make her bus rides stress-free. She emphasizes that preparation is key to an enjoyable and efficient trip. 

“To make your trip easier, always plan ahead. It’s saved me so much time, and I never worry when I take the bus because I already know exactly where I’m going,” shared Rubi. 
 
“Para que tu viaje sea más fácil, siempre planea con anticipación. Me ha ahorrado mucho tiempo y nunca me preocupo cuando tomo el autobús porque ya sé exactamente a dónde voy,” dijo Rubi. 

In her free time, you can catch Rubi riding her favorite routes—the 46, 22, and 121—which help her complete her daily errands with ease. She also loves exploring neighboring cities and visiting her loved ones, making the most of the convenient and reliable services LBT provides.
