To get customers to the polls, LBT will offer free rides on November 8.

Long Beach, CA – To encourage voting, Long Beach Transit (LBT) will be offering free transportation for the General Election on Nov. 8, 2022, to help get new and current customers to the polls and ballot drop off locations.

“We continue our mission of making everyday life better by getting people to the polls on Election Day,” President and CEO Kenneth A. McDonald said. “Whether you are dropping off a ballot or voting in person, LBT will get you there. Please consider using public transportation to have your voice be heard.”

In addition to its regularly scheduled, fixed-route bus service, LBT will offer free rides for its eligible Dial-A-Lift customers. Dial-A-Lift is LBT’s paratransit service for those with permanent mobility impairments.
