Meet Adam
Adam is a local student pursuing a history degree at Cal State Long Beach (CSULB). Adam relies on the reliable and convenient services provided by LBT to commute to both school and work.
Adam’s connection with LBT goes back to his time as a student at Millikan High School when he first started riding the bus to travel to school and explore the community. Today, he rides on Route 21 or 22, which run along Cherry Ave., to his job at Food 4 Less. To get to the CSULB campus, he relies on the scenic Route 121 which runs along Ocean Blvd., through the campus and ending at the Traffic Circle.
“Having been a regular LBT customer for many years, I can say that the best thing about the bus is that it usually arrives on time,” shared Adam. “If you’re new to taking the bus, don’t be afraid. It’s fast and easy, and you can always ask the Operator for help with your route if you need it.”
To make his rides with LBT even easier, Adam uses the Go Beach! Pass, which gives him unlimited rides aboard LBT buses. The Go Beach! Pass is available to all CSULB students, staff and faculty and includes the option of a 30-day pass for $40 ($65 value) or for an even better deal there is the 150-day semester pass for $100 ($325 value).
When Adam has free time, he enjoys catching up on sleep and using public transit to explore Long Beach and the surrounding cities. While onboard, he likes to sit back and relax, especially after a long shift at work.
“Between work and school my schedule can get busy, so I love getting to catch up on lost sleep when I can. When I’m not resting, you can find me on LBT listening to music.”
