Meet Alex Sagbigsal

Alex is a Mechanic Lead in our Maintenance and Infrastructure Department and this year marks 29 years working on the LBT team!

You can find Alex working hard and staying focused during his shifts as he handles important project such as LBT’s BYD battery electric bus project and maintaining the BEB fleet. Alex says he keeps his work philosophy down to a simple formula: come to work every day, do his job and get the work done. With over 200 buses to service in LBT’s fleet, it is definitely not as easy as he makes it sound! One of Alex’s peers noted that he goes above and beyond and he always makes himself available when the going gets tough.

When he’s not in the shop, Alex can usually be found on the courts shooting hoops. That is, “virtually on an app”, of course. Alex looks forward to being able to safely take his two boys to watch their favorite NBA team, the Lakers, take the court once again!
