Meet Brian Son

Brian Son is a North Long Beach resident who rides LBT to and from work at La Creperie Cafe in Belmont Shore, where he helps serve French-American food.

Brian has been riding LBT since he was a student at Long Beach Polytechnic High School. He started riding the bus after seeing how easy it was for his friends to get around Long Beach. 

“It can be intimidating riding the bus at first, especially if you’re not familiar with it,” said Brian. “I would suggest riding with a friend or parent who knows what they are doing and going from there. Once you get the hang of it, you can go all over the city.”  

When Brian has free time, he enjoys riding his bike and playing video games. While onboard, he likes to sit back and relax, especially after a long shift at work.

“I enjoy listening to music, streaming videos on my phone and catching the views on my way home.”
