Meet Daniel Harang III

Daniel is an exceptional LBT Bus Operator who recently clinched top honors in the Five Star Roadeo. The Five Star Roadeo is a competition among bus operators across the region that showcases bus operators’ skills in agility, safety, time management, and customer service. Daniel’s first place win in the pre-trip inspection segment is a testament to his expertise and dedication. Congratulations, Daniel! 

“Participating in this year’s 5 Star Roadeo was an incredible experience,” Daniel reflects. “It’s more than just friendly competition; it’s an opportunity to showcase the professionalism and dedication of our team while proudly representing our company.”

With 26 years of service at LBT, Daniel finds great reward in providing essential services to customers and contributing positively to the community. Daniel shared, “My journey with Long Beach Transit has been very rewarding. Providing an essential service for our customers and contributing positively to the community is why I’m passionate about what I do.” 

His passion extends to his family, as his son recently joined LBT as an operator, following in his footsteps to serve the community. “It’s a source of pride to see my son follow in my footsteps and contribute to such an important mission.”
