Meet David   

Cabrillo High School alum David Valdivia is a Quality Assurance Supervisor at LBT. In his role, he ensures our buses remain in top condition through preventative maintenance and regular servicing schedules. 

David was raised in Long Beach, growing up near LBT’s facility at Cherry Ave. and Anaheim St. 

“I started taking the bus during my time at Cabrillo High School,” shared David. “At the time I didn’t know I’d end up working for LBT, but back then I’d ride with LBT to go all over the city to hang with friends and to get to work and school, so I know how valuable our service is for the community.” 

When asked about his favorite part of the job, David shared, “It’s the community we have in the Maintenace Department and at LBT in general. We’re one big family, and even though I’m on the newer side, the team has welcomed me in and made me feel at home.” 

Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with family or working on some of his many hobbies, including Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, art, tattooing, and fitness.
