Meet Edwin

Edwin Chinchilla and his friends kicked-off National Arts and Humanities Month by visiting the Getty Villa with Long Beach Transit’s Museum Express. As avid museum-goers, Edwin and his group took the opportunity to explore this iconic destination while enjoying a ride with LBT. 

“As a LBT customer who uses the bus to commute regularly, I was glad to see LBT bring back the Museum Express and made sure my friends and I booked a trip this season,” shared Edwin.  

At the Getty Villa, Edwin was excited to learn more about the site’s unique design and used his time at the museum to take in the exhibits and gardens with his friends. “I found out that the Villa is a full-scale re-creation of a Roman Villa, and as a history buff it was awesome walking around and imagining what life was like in that time period.” 

The Museum Express ran every weekend in October to celebrate Arts and Humanities Month, offering LBT customers a $14 round-trip pass (entrance fees not included) to visit cultural destinations like the Getty Center, MOCA, The Broad, the Getty Villa, and more.
