Nathalie - Spotlight

Meet Nathalie

Nathalie is a freshman at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) and just began her educational journey as a pre-nursing student. Congratulation Nathalie and welcome to Long Beach! She is new to riding with LBT and is still getting familiar with all her routes this first week of school.

“I’m not really a morning person, and finding parking can be difficult. Using the bus saves me a lot of time,” shared Nathalie. “So far, I really appreciate how efficient LBT is and how convenient it is for students, especially those starting out their college careers. My favorite route so far has been Route 93 because it gets me to and from school.”

Quick Tip: The bus stops at Brotman Hall or at the library on upper campus are the most convenient stops on campus. These bus stops service Routes 41, 46, 91, 92, 93, 94, 121, 171 and 175, which can take you all over the greater Long Beach area.

“I like how simple riding the bus is. Everyone is friendly, and it’s very quiet so I definitely will be able to study during my commute.” She recommends students take advantage of student discounts like the Go Beach! Pass which is offered to CSULB students, faculty, and staff by LBT. There are two options available for the Go Beach! Pass: a 30- day pass for $40 (valued at $65) or a 150-day semester pass for $100 (with a value of $325).

When Nathalie’s not busy with heavy schoolwork you can find her jamming on her saxophone!

If you are a CSULB student or know one, visit ridelbt.com/CSULB or visit the university’s website directly to learn about the different pass options available for students.

Thank you, Nathalie, for riding with LBT!
