Customer Spotlight

LBT’s Community Relations Team met customer Porscha Rollerson, a Long Beach resident, at the popular 11th Annual Uptown Jazz Festival.

Porscha, an avid transit rider, was enjoying the music at the event with her daughter and made sure to stop by and say hello to her favorite transit agency.

“I’ve been using public transit for the last 30 years,” said Porscha. “It gets me everywhere I need to go, and I don’t have to worry about gas prices or parking.”

Porscha’s favorite routes are the 131 along Redondo Ave. and the 191 along Del Amo Blvd. and Santa Fe Ave., which she regularly takes to the mall and to see friends and family.

“I love public transportation,” said Porscha. “If you’re a new rider or nervous about riding the bus, don’t be afraid to ask the operators for help. They are always so nice and willing to help get you to where you need to go.”
