Long Beach, CA – Randy Rawlings was appointed by former Long Beach City Mayor Dr. Robert Garcia and confirmed by the City Council to serve a four-year term on the Long Beach Transit (LBT) Board of Directors. His first LBT Board of Directors meeting was on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023.
“The LBT Board of Directors is pleased to welcome Director Rawlings as a new member,” said Board Chair David Sutton. “He joins a board committed to providing reliable and sustainable service to the community, and we look forward to his ideas and contributions.”
Director Rawlings is a resident of the 5th Council District and currently works at Virgin Orbit as a Business and Customer Experience Analyst. He has experience working in the City of Long Beach’s Legislative Department and was also a Business Strategist and Freelance Consultant.
Director Rawlings earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Technological Entrepreneurship and Management from Arizona State University.
