Long Beach, CA – Long Beach Transit (LBT) is pleased to announce the continuation of its free Passport service, a circulator bus serving Downtown Long Beach, The Pike Outlets, Rainbow Harbor, Convention Center, Shoreline Village, Aquarium of the Pacific, and Downtown Hotels.

The Passport service returned to operation for the holiday season on Dec. 16, 2022, after being temporarily suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally scheduled to end on Monday, Jan. 16, 2023, the Passport will continue operating only Friday through Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

“LBT has connected the downtown area with our free Passport service for more than 20 years,” said Kenneth A. McDonald, President and CEO. “I am pleased to bring the Passport back to our customers and find ways to expand this service in the future.”
