Long Beach Transit Introduces See Say App Pilot Program to Strengthen Safety and Security

Long Beach, CALong Beach Transit (LBT) launched a one-year pilot program with the See Say App from ELERTS on Tuesday, Sept. 2, reinforcing its commitment to customer and employee safety. The mobile app provides customers a fast, discreet way to report safety and security concerns directly from their smartphones, supporting LBT’s efforts to ensure a welcoming transit experience for our customers.

“Long Beach Transit recognizes that safety requires both innovation and collaboration,” said Kenneth A. McDonald, President and CEO of Long Beach Transit. “By introducing the See Say App, we are setting a higher standard for transit security and strengthening the partnership between our agency and the customers we serve. This initiative reflects our leadership in advancing safety while ensuring our system remains welcoming and inclusive for all.”

This pilot program builds on LBT’s existing safety efforts, including our Transit Ambassador program, onboard monitoring technology, and a strong customer Code of Conduct.
