As result of the actions taken at the federal, state and local levels of government to minimize the spread of COVID-19, LBT will be operating a modified bus schedule, until further notice, for customers performing essential activities and traveling to work.

LBT offers two great mobile features that offer slightly different experiences.

Hello LBT offers real-time news alerts and schedule changes sent by LBT straight to your phone. To sign-up, text “HELLO” to 833.545.0528.

Text For Next provides customers with live updates on bus arrival times. Find out when your bus will arrive by texting LBT + your stop ID to 41411. Be sure to include a space between LBT and your stop ID before sending.

Rear-door boarding remains in effect. Please board and exit through the rear door. Customers needing additional assistance may board through the front door.  

Per state mandates, Face coverings are required onboard. When possible, Skip a Seat and Skip a Row whenever possible.

The UCLA/Westwood Commuter Express remains in service on a modified schedule.

UCLA students, faculty, staff members and the general public can take away the stress of traveling along the 405 freeway through the UCLA/Westwood Commuter Express pilot program service from Long Beach to West Los Angeles.

Dial-A-Lift

Long Beach Dial-A-Lift is a curb to curb, shared ride exclusively for persons who are unable to use the bus system. Dial-A-Lift drivers operate ADA-compliant vehicles and are specially trained in the needs of persons with disabilities.

Any resident of Long Beach, Lakewood, Paramount or Signal Hill who is at least 18 years of age, is a current member of Access Services, and is permanently mobility impaired can apply. To apply please download the following information or call us at 562.591.8751. You can also contact us.
