LBT's next service change is scheduled to take place on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023.
Long Beach Transit has three annual service changes in February, June and August. Learn about upcoming changes, improvements in service and other announcements below.
Service Changes
Route 131 – Redondo Ave.
On weekdays, service frequency will change from 40 to 45 minutes.

Route 405 – UCLA/Westwood Commuter Express
Based on customer feedback, the following schedule changes will be implemented:
Long Beach departures from LGB Airport at 5:17 a.m., 5:50 a.m. and 6:50 a.m.
UCLA departures from Gateway Plaza at 3:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Passport Service Continues
Originally scheduled to end on Monday, Jan. 16, 2023, the Passport will continue operating only Friday through Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

If you need assistance planning your trip, please contact our Customer Service team at 562.591.2301. LBT ‘s Call Center is open Monday–Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Additionally, the Transit & Visitor Information Center downtown, remain open on Monday–Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
