LBT's next service change is scheduled to take place Sunday, June 26, 2022.

Bus Stop Removal Survey – POSTPONED

Long Beach Transit has postponed the removal of the previously proposed 32 bus stops for the June Service Change. At this time, all LBT bus stops will remain in place until further notice.

New Route 141 Survey – June Service Change

On June 26, 2022, Long Beach Transit will expand its service by starting a new route to replace the eastern half of L.A. Metro’s Line 130 from the Artesia Station to the Los Cerritos Center via Artesia Boulevard with the same existing bus stop locations. Please complete the survey regarding new Route 141 using the button below. Customers can submit feedback until Wednesday, May 25, 2022.

Transit & Visitor Information Center and LBT Call Center

If you need assistance planning your trip, please contact our Customer Service team at 562.591.2301. LBT ‘s Call Center is open Monday–Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Additionally, the Transit & Visitor Information Center downtown,  remain open on Monday–Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Service Improvements

Route 41 

  • Route 41’s running time will be improving providing a three-minute reduction in travel time for a faster trip between Long Beach Blvd. and Santa Fe Ave. 

Route 46 

  • Earlier service start time implemented for Route 46. Route 46 will start at 4:55 a.m. at Anaheim St. and Pacific Coast Highway instead of starting at 5:04 a.m. from Anaheim St. and Cherry Ave. 

Route 121 

  • An earlier inbound trip will be added weekday mornings at 5:02 a.m., restoring an earlier connection between Route 121 and the Metro A / Blue Line in downtown Long Beach.  
  • Route 121’s frequency will be improved from 60 minutes to 40 minutes creating an earlier light rail connection.

Additional School Trippers
  • An additional afternoon tripper will be added to Route 101 from McBride High School at 2:20 p.m. 
  • An additional afternoon tripper will be added to Route 94, leaving 7th St. and Ximeno Ave. at 2:32 p.m.
