Alma Zepeda is a North Long Beach resident who started riding LBT seven years ago. Prior to moving to Long Beach, Alma was not familiar with riding public transportation, but she decided to try it out after she realized how frequently she saw LBT buses around her neighborhood. 

“When I told my sisters that I learned to ride the bus, they said there was no way of stopping me now,” said Alma. “I’m able to go all around the city on the bus, anywhere I need to go, and I don’t need to rely on family or friends for a ride.”  

Her favorite bus routes are Route 22 and 23 which travel down Cherry Avenue where her favorite grocery store, Northgate Market. 

During her free time, Alma enjoys cooking and trying out new recipes. She is looking forward to the summer because she will be spending time with close family and sharing those new recipes.
