Meet Terry 

Meet Terry Coon, LBT’s Accounting Manager who has been with the agency for nearly three years. No one working at LBT would get paid if it weren’t for the efforts of Terry and his team! In his role, Terry oversees payroll and revenue for the entire organization of nearly 800 employees.

Terry knew one thing he was looking for in his work before starting with LBT and that was being able to contribute to something that makes a direct impact on the community.

“I enjoy being able to see the decisions we make while working with other departments and how it directly impacts our ridership and customer base,” Terry says.

Another important factor for Terry in the workplace: being part of a fun and diverse team. He credits his department for his success.

“The Finance department has a great work dynamic, culture and leadership, which enables us to perform and work well together.”

With today’s changing landscape, Terry looks forward to seeing what new and innovative ways LBT “can ensure we are in alignment with the future of public transportation and cities as they are changing and transforming.”

You’ll find Terry spending time with his wife and their two dogs, Kobe and Happy, playing golf, watching the Lakers play, or volunteering at his church when he’s not at work.

While following safer at home guidance, he started watching the Food Network, which has led him to his new hobby of smoking meats!
