Anne is a local Long Beach resident who started riding the bus to her job at California State University, Long Beach, last year while her car was in the shop. After seeing how convenient and easy riding the bus was, Anne started to use LBT for all her essential needs.
Ā
āAt first, I was really nervous because Iāve never used the bus, so I had a ton of questions,ā Anne shared. āBut after I realized I could find all the information I neededĀ
online, I decided to give it a try.āĀ
Ā
Anne was initially paying the standard fare of $1.25 per ride, but after learning about theĀ
Go Beach! PassĀ from a colleague, she decided it was more cost-efficient to get the pass. The Go Beach! Pass is available to all CSULB students, staff and faculty and has two options available to meet everyoneās needs. There is a 30-day pass for $40 ($65 value) or 150-day
Ā semester pass for $100 ($325 value).Ā
Ā
āTrying something new like riding the bus for the first time can be scary. I went on a practice trip before I started riding the bus to work, and I did my research,ā Anne said. āI quickly discovered I could go all over the city on the bus and now I use it all the time, even on the weekends.ā
