LBT's next service change is scheduled to take place Sunday, June 26, 2022.
Long Beach Transit has three annual service changes in February, June and August. Learn about upcoming changes, improvements in service and see other announcements below.
Route 1 – City of Carson
On Sundays, frequency will improve from 60 to 45 minutes

Additional inbound service from Alondra Ave. to Transit Gallery E, between 5:50 p.m. and 8:55 p.m.

Routes 171 & 175 – PCH Crosstown
On Saturday, the westbound trip arriving at Pacific Coast Highway at Cherry Ave. at 12:00 p.m. will arrive five minutes later at 12:05 p.m.

Route 405 – UCLA
15-20 minutes will be reduced from the running time between Willow Station and UCLA in the morning to reflect current traffic conditions. New arrival time can be as early as 6:25 a.m.

New Route 141
On June 26, 2022, Long Beach Transit will expand its service by starting a new route to replace the eastern half of L.A. Metro’s Line 130 from the Artesia Station to the Los Cerritos Center via Artesia Boulevard with the same existing bus stop locations.

Bus Stop Removal Survey – POSTPONED
Long Beach Transit has postponed the proposed removal of 32 bus stops for the June service change. At this time, all LBT bus stops will remain in place until further notice.

Additionally, the Transit & Visitor Information Center downtown, remain open on Monday–Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
