Meet Rodolfo
Rodolfo is a Lead Mechanic with LBT, starting his career in the Maintenance and Infrastructure department 21 years ago. His history of building and assembling engines began well before. Rodolfo was 16 years old when he showed his first interest in being a mechanic.
Rodolfo loves being a mechanic because he enjoys learning how things function with a hands-on approach. He believes the most difficult part of being a mechanic is keeping up with the latest technology, as most buses are operated by several computer processors. In fact, it takes at least 10 different computer processors to run the newest buses.
Rodolfo attributes his success to his teammates. “I know if I start something and I am unable to finish it, I can depend on them to follow through with the job. We have each other’s backs all the time,” he shared.
On his time off, he loves to spend time with his wife, three stepchildren and nine grandchildren. You will also find him rooting for his favorite soccer teams, Galaxy and Chivas. When he needs to wind down after a day at work, he’ll pick up a good biography to read. When it is time, Rodolfo looks forward to retiring in Baja California for the beautiful weather and to be closer to family.
We rely on our skilled Mechanics to maintain our fleet of buses and regularly hire for these positions. If Rodolfo’s job sounds interesting to you, make sure to regularly check our jobs page for open positions with LBT.
