Service Changes

Long Beach Transit has three annual service changes in February, June and August. Learn about upcoming changes, improvements in service and other announcements below.

LBT’s next service change will go into effect on Sunday, June 14, 2026. 

Upcoming Service Change

Route 1 – Bus Stop Relocations 
  • Bus stop #2001, served by westbound Route 1, at the northeast corner of Del Amo Blvd. and railroad tracks will be relocated. The bus stop will be moved 900 ft. west to the northeast corner of Del Amo Blvd. and Alameda St.
  • Bus stop #2002, served by eastbound Route 1, at the southeast corner of Del Amo Blvd. and railroad Tracks will be relocated. The bus stop will be moved 750 ft. west to the southeast corner of Del Amo Blvd. and Alameda St.

These changes will improve safety, bus operations and the customer experience. 

Route 93 – Bus Stop Removal  
  • Bus stop #1143, served by eastbound 93, at the southeast corner of Clark Ave. and Ramona St. Will be removed.

This change will improve safety, bus speeds and service reliability. 

Routes that will have time adjustments of less than five minutes:
1, 2, 21, 101, 112, 131, 173, 191, and Passport.

*Please be sure to check bus departure times on the LBT Trip Planner or your favorite map app. 

Routes that continue to be paused:
Routes 96, 176.

Transit & Visitor Information Center and LBT Call Center

If you need assistance planning your trip, please contact our Customer Service team at 562.591.2301. LBT ‘s Call Center is open Monday–Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Additionally, the Transit & Visitor Information Center downtown,  remain open on Monday–Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
