Employee Spotlight

This month in honor of Veterans Day, we are spotlighting Bobby Warren, Fleet Maintenance Supervisor at LBT and Marine Corps Veteran.

Growing up in a small town in Tennessee, Bobby was accustomed to working with his hands, “I’ve been turning a wrench for the longest time. When things broke, I had to learn how to fix them,” says Bobby.

To put those skills to use he joined the Marine Corps in 2001 where he served for eight years. “After 9/11, I decided to enlist. I did a couple of deployments in Iraq where I served in the Motor T Fleet Maintenance,” shares Bobby.

Today Bobby is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operation and preventative care of 125 LBT buses.

“I’ve been with LBT for nearly six years now and it’s been great. It’s a wonderful environment to work in. I love helping people and working at LBT allows me to continue serving my community,” says Bobby.

In his spare time Bobby enjoys the outdoors, boating, golfing, and watching sports. November 10th is the Marine Corps’ birthday, which he will spend with close friends. For Veterans Day he plans to celebrate by having a BBQ with his family. Bobby wants all our Veterans to know that they are appreciated and not forgotten, “you are not alone,” says Bobby.

LBT thanks Bobby and all our Veterans for their service to our nation!
